The Practitioner's Interactive Networking Group, Inc. | Knowledge & Networking for the Practicing Clinician

                                           Goals

There are a multitude of websites that are patient-centered and well versed on improving patient care.  We highly encourage our guests and members who are also interested in direct patient care to continue to improve on their clinical skill-set by visiting these sites, regularly.

The PING, however has decided to take the road less traveled on improving patient care indirectly, by focusing on the clinician.

If you seek self-improvement and networking strategies, you may find that our website can lend itself to becoming a welcome addendum to your professional repertoire.

Our mission statement, here at the PING is based on the following four concepts, geared towards the professional growth of the healthcare clinician, from new graduates to the seasoned professionals of yesteryear:

I.  Networking

  • Educate health care professionals on the techniques of professional networking
  • Attempt to close the gaps in communication among various health care disciplines
  • Encourage professional and advanced communication skills during interdisciplinary and intradisciplinary interactions

II. Professional Development

  • Encourage writing articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals and texts
  • Encourage research strategies in order to contribute to and challenge current evidence based practices
  • Assist in simplifying the process towards the maintenance of professional requirements for licensure and certification
  • Provide professional, peer-to-peer support for those seeking degrees in graduate and post-graduate studies

III.  Independent Practice

  • Assist in streamlining the process towards independent practice, for those practitioners who have an interest in doing so
  • Provide networking strategies for independent practitioners to assist each other in various business venues and common interests

IV.  Technology

  • Encourage the use of technology
  • Create a forum of professional discussions on the impact of technology on the delivery of health care
  • Educate the practitioner on the advances and use of mobile devices during clinical practice
  • Encourage the integration of traditionally learned concepts in referencing and research with newly founded technological tools to guide the clinician on “digital referencing”, at the point of care
